First rides of 2009!

Lisa and I took out Cocoa and Roger for three rides in a row. They are fat, and getting old, so we took it easy on them. The plan is to get them in shape for lots of riding in 2009.

The most difficult challenge was the first stream crossing. I don't know a horse that likes feel of breaking through ice. Cocoa and Roger were hesitant, but relied on their trail experience and our trust to make it up the trail.
