The Granby Regional Horse Council 2nd Annual Domnarski Farm Summer Pleasure Trail ride. The rain in the forecast kept most away but 11 riders and horses hit the trails. Two ladies from Groton, Leah from Belchertown, Glenn & Kirsten from Belchertown and Alan from Winchendon. From the Domnarski Farm was Matthew Domnarski on Cocoa, neighbor Bambi McQuaid on Roger, Danni from Chicopee on Nikki, Ronda from Ware on Sonny. The two ladies from Groton looked very experienced with trail riding and were out before everyone to complete the 10.5 mile loop. Leah likes to ride fast and that made Danni very happy. Lucky for Leah, Danni went the wrong way but knows the trails since she boards here. Glenn and Kirsten did some experimenting with a horse that hasn't been off the property...they missed one of the last turns but made it back after a few cars tore past them on the road. Ronda and Bambi made a good team alternating the lead when each horse decided the other should go first. I think everyone got wet except Danni and Leah...especially Matt and Alan who were last to return in the downpour. Wet...but still a good time! Posted by Picasa
