Domnarski Farm
Last October (*2004) my wife, Lisa, and I finished building our beautiful 36’ x 60’ post and beam barn on our property on the Palmer/Ware line in Massachusetts. We started out small, with two horses at our house on just 2.7 acres. It took us several years to fulfill what's every horse owner’s dream: having two healthy horses on green pastures, and our own 36’ x 60’ post and beam barn.
We enjoy what we have up here, and we're willing to share our facility and experience with other horse owners. The Domnarski Farm offers 10' x 12' stalls in our newly constructed barn. Each stall is connected to an individual paddock and is surrounded by larger grazing pastures. We provide full board with morning and evening feedings to your specification and other services such as farrier, grooming and tacking can be arranged. As individual horse owners, we take pride in what we do, and are one-hundred per cent committed to provide quality support and care to you and your horse. All you have to do is bring the carrots and ride. Should you find that you do not have much time but want to ride, call ahead and we'll tack up your horse and have her ready and waiting for you for a nominal fee.
We will also host monthly trail rides welcoming others to trailer in their horses for a day of pleasant riding. The farm is located on 55 acres, abutting thousands of undeveloped and conservation land. There are miles of decommisioned roads and trails, for riding for hours without crossing a single paved road. Trails range from beginner to expert levels. If you like quiet and peaceful, we got it. If you like exploring new terrain and trails, and like adventure, we got that, too.

Having joined Matt and Lisa on their small, quiet, family run stable featuring an impressive barn, was an exciting and very rewarding event. My horse Nikki, an 18+ year old flea-bitten gray Arab/QH mix mare has settled in quickly and without any nerve wrecking events.
Although I was convinced there would be certain challenges and issues with moving a sensitive, and at times high strung horse such as her to a new place, the transition went extremely smooth; in fact, it was almost frightning smooth (just kidding!) After a short period of sniffin, snorting, and squealing horses, the show quickly came to an end. After that, Nikki truly looked happy and enjoyed the new set up and attention from two of the most beautiful spotted geldings.
The open stall and the run-in run-out type paddock attached to her stall seems to be exactly what Nikki needed to feel save and protected, while offering ample opportunity to check out the other horses, and to get used to the new sights, sounds, and smells.
Matt and Lisa have done an amazing job in preparing for Nikki's arrival, and then, once we arrived, to keep her comfortable and safe, and me, as the owner informed. I cannot thank them enough for such a warm welcome, and am looking forward to a long lasting relationship, and many enjoyable trail rides.
